OK, I admit, I've been pretty vocal about where I stand on the Chevy Volt. But please allow me this one chance to toot my own horn (pardon the expression), since in addition to its exorbitant price tag and the emergence of several preferable alternatives, the Chevy Volt is now being exposed as a fraud. 230 miles per gallon? All-electric drivetrain? How about nooooooooo.
Chalk up another one for the American auto industry.
